We require credit card details for tables over 6, this is to safeguard us against no shows,
we do not charge anything to your card unless you do not arrive for your booking, please see T&C’s below.

The Torfin is an independent restaurant relying upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any required changes to reservations. We therefore kindly request that diners give us a minimum of 24 hours notification if a cancellation or an amendment is required. We require debit/credit card details to secure your table with us for reservations over 6 and on select days for all tables. These will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault. A charge of £5 per person will be made if the cancellation terms are not met. Unfortunately, our experience of parties failing to cancel or amend bookings dictates this precaution is now necessary. If you have any queries regarding our terms and conditions do not hesitate to contact the restaurant. By making a reservation at The Torfin you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms.
Festive Bookings – please note our booking terms are slightly different for Festive bookings as this is a very busy period for us. All Festive bookings have a 48 hour cancellation/amendment policy, any bookings cancelled or amended after 48 hours will incur a deposit of £10pp charged to your credit card.
